Ford Performance Foxbody Transmission Crossmember - 82-93 Mustang

This crossmember kit allows you to install a Tremec transmission in your 1982-1993 foxbody Mustang without having to grind or modify the stock crossmember.

The adjustable transmission crossmember is needed when installing an 86-93 exhaust on an 82-86 Mustang.

The crossmember is bare metal and unfinished. It may have a light surface rust and will require prepping and painting prior to installation.

Outer tubes are NOT welded to the center support, so the crossmember can move back and forth for a custom fit.  Tubes can be welded after installation. 

Works with both manual and automatic transmissions

Ford Performance designs this new crossmember specifically for the foxbody 5.0 Mustangs with a 4-1/2” dimension between the crossmember mounting brackets.  It can be used on many other foxbody vehicles with a 2-1/4” mounting dimension by relocating the brackets.
