The intake-air temperature sensor determines the temperature in the intake system of your 1984-1995 EFI Mustang and forwards the voltage signals from the temperature sensor to your Mustang's ECU. This information is used to create the proper fuel and air mixture ratio. The vehicle will not perform to its full capacity and the fuel consumption may also be increased if this sensor is not functioning properly. This Air Charge Temperature (ACT) Sensor is designed to maintain proper function and avoid excess fuel consumption and other related issues. It is a direct fit replacement with an OE-style connection, providing a quick and easy installation.
